Sisters Only

A missionary Congregation which was founded by Anne Marie Javouhey at the beginning of the 19th century and which spread rapidly throughout the world.

Today in the Church we continue the work which God confided to her : to reveal His presence and His love to all persons.

“…consecrated persons are called by the Spirit to a continual conversion to give new vigour to the prophetic dimension of their vocation. They who, in fact, are called to place their very existence at the service of the cause of the Kingdom of God, leaving everything behind and closely imitating the form of life of Jesus Christ, assume a most important teaching role for the whole People of God”.

“The more consecrated persons allow themselves to be conformed to Christ, the more Christ is made present and active in history for the salvation of all. Open to the needs of the world as seen through the eyes of God, they point to a future with the hope of resurrection, ready to follow the example of Christ who came among us that we “might have life and have it to the full” (Jn 10:10)”.
